Lung Cancer Foundation of America
June 1, 2024
LCFA’s mission is the improvement in survivorship of lung cancer patients through the funding of transformative science. While raising funds to support lung cancer research, LCFA will raise the public’s awareness and serve as a resource for patients or anyone seeking answers, hope, and access to updated treatment information, scientific investigation, and clinical trials.
Through private donations, LCFA has awarded 6-figure lung cancer research grants to Early Career Researchers annually in partnerships with sister lung cancer research organizations. Guided by our Scientific Advisory Board, we continue to attract the best and the brightest researchers into the world of lung cancer. Every year there are more education programs and research grants in our pipeline.
LCFA has been instrumental in developing a continuing public dialogue. Through annual media campaigns, LCFA has been dedicated to education and research – the route to the early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer and, hopefully, the cure.
